Northern Virginia Technology Council Foundation Service Award

Volunteer Fairfax is a private nonprofit corporation serving the Fairfax community since 1975.

In 1993, Volunteer Fairfax founded the Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards to honor outstanding citizens, organizations and corporations that give time and service to the community. Over the past decade hundreds of dedicated volunteers have been recognized for their contributions to the arts, education and human services.

In 1999, as part of its ongoing commitment to corporate community involvement, the Northern Virginia Technology Council established a special technology service award to be presented annually at the awards breakfast ceremony. This honor is given to an NVTC member organization that contributes outstanding volunteer service to the community through the use of technology. Judging is based on the benefit of technology to clients or recipients, the impact on the organization for which service was given and the overall contribution to the Fairfax County community-at-large.

To submit a nomination for an NVTC member organization or to nominate your company, complete the Nomination Form below. Please read the guidelines carefully. For further information, contact Erin Whyte at Volunteer Fairfax, ewhyte@volunteerfairfax.org or (703) 246-3460.
