Herndon,Virginia, February 10, 2004 - The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Foundation today announced the appointment of Pamela C. Dudley as its new President effective March 1, 2004. Dudley will replace Tim Nurvala who will be leaving the post after three years as Foundation President and over five and a half years with NVTC.

Prior to working for NVTC, she served in the Administration of former President Bush as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of State and as Director of Administration at The White House Office of Presidential Personnel.

"I am very excited for the opportunity to take a leadership role with the NVTC Foundation. Tim Nurvala has done an extraordinary job and I look forward to expanding upon his successes," said Dudley upon her appointment.

"I have had the privilege of working with Pam at NVTC, and am delighted with her selection as our new Foundation President," said Dan Bannister, Chairman of the NVTC Foundation. "With her outstanding record and boundless energy, the Foundation is in good hands."

"Tim Nurvala has performed brilliantly at NVTC. He has raised $2 million for our Foundation and created our Computer Clubhouse program that serves 800 children from low-income areas at three Clubhouses in Northern Virginia. Tim has started the process to add three new clubhouses serving an additional 800 children by the end of this year and he is leaving us with plans to add six more facilities in the years to follow. His leadership has set a very high standard for the work of our Foundation," said NVTC President Bobbie Kilberg.
