Scholarships
The Equal Footing Foundation supports three Scholarship Funds for participating Clubhouse students:
Bannister Scholarship Fund
Established by technology executive Dan Bannister in 1997 to award tuition for selected students enrolled in the George Mason University School of Information Technology and Engineering. 27 scholarships have been awarded to date.
Congratulations to
Sheri Williamson, class of 2010, recipient of the 2009 Bannister Scholarship.
The Equal Footing Foundation Scholarship Fund
The "Beyond the Clubhouse" scholarship fund was established to assist those Clubhouse seniors who would like to further their education. The funds can be used for tuition to technical or trade schools, associate degree programs or college of their choice. To qualify, Clubhouse seniors must show that they have excelled in school academics or projects, participated on a regular basis in Computer Clubhouse programs, and reflected good citizenship in the community and with their peers.
Computer Laptop Donation Program
This program awards laptops to students, usually high school seniors, who have participated consistently in Clubhouse programs.
